Refund Policy
Effective: October 31, 2026 · Last Updated: October 31, 2026
This policy covers Calplanner subscriptions purchased through Polar, our merchant of record and authorized reseller. Read it with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Polar's Buyer Terms govern its payment and reseller services.
Refund Eligibility
Subscription, renewal and immediate upgrade charges are generally non-refundable, including for unused time, partial billing periods or a change of mind, subject to the exceptions and rights below.
We will correct verified duplicate or incorrect charges and arrange any refund due for non-delivery. If we cannot provide the service for the remainder of a paid term, we will arrange a proportionate refund for the undelivered portion. Other requests are considered individually; we do not offer a general money-back guarantee.
Cancellation and Plan Changes
- —Cancellation: Cancel in Settings → Billing or through the Polar customer portal before your next renewal to stop future renewals. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; access continues until then. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier charge.
- —Upgrades: Upgrades to a higher tier and monthly-to-annual billing changes within the same tier take effect immediately after successful payment, if a payment is due. Polar calculates the prorated adjustment; any amount shown before confirmation is an estimate, not a guaranteed final charge.
- —Downgrades: Lower-tier plans and annual-to-monthly billing changes within the same tier take effect at renewal. Current access continues until then; scheduling a downgrade creates no immediate refund or credit.
- —Account deletion: Deletion ends access and may revoke the subscription immediately. Deleting an account does not itself create a refund entitlement.
- —Free access: Our Free plan and eligible sync trial do not automatically create a paid subscription.
Requesting a Refund
Email support@calplanner.com with your account email, Polar order ID or receipt, charge date and reason. Do not send full card details or passwords. You may also contact Polar Support about the transaction. A request does not itself cancel future renewals; cancel separately if needed.
Processing and Subscription Access
Approved refunds are processed through Polar against the original transaction. Polar adjusts the corresponding tax. Completion and bank posting times vary; a submitted request is not confirmation of a completed refund.
An ordinary subscription-order refund does not itself cancel the subscription. Cancellation or revocation is handled separately. Polar may independently refund a transaction, including to prevent a dispute, and may cancel the associated subscription and revoke access under its rules.
Your Rights
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights, remedies for faulty or undelivered services, applicable cooling-off or withdrawal rights, or chargeback rights provided by your card issuer. Any lawful exception to withdrawal rights depends on the applicable law and valid checkout consent where required. Mandatory law and Polar's applicable Buyer Terms prevail over conflicting restrictions in this policy or our Terms.
